Cajsa Tengblad

Life took an unexpected and exciting turn when author, Föreläsare and songwriter Cajsa Tengblad met Freda´ guitarist, songwriter and producer Arne Johansson. Cajsa, with her roots deeply embedded in the Norrland soil, attended her first concert with Freda´ in her hometown Örnsköldsvik in 1984. Many years later, in 2016, their paths crossed at Arne's café in Jönköping. There, over hours-long conversations and many cups of coffee, a musical collaboration was born. Together they have written and recorded songs in different environments – from the studio and bedroom to travels through Barcelona, Copenhagen, Marburg, Mölle and Österlen. Their music, filled with comforting and hopeful lyrics, carries the listener through grief and longing and creates hope for change. This is just the beginning of a series of songs where Cajsa gives us beautiful and mature vispop, where she paints a story of love and tenderness. (Popmuzik)
