Frispråkarn

Frispråkarn, with the real name Mats Håkan Bäckman, is a Swedish rapper and songwriter born on December 30, 1980. He is best known for his contributions to the Swedish music scene where he has made a name for himself with his unique style and honest lyrics since his debut. His career took off with the debut album Signerat Språkarn which was released in 2008 on his own label Rimskadad Ent. In 2010 he participated in Melodifestivalen with the song "Singel," where he reached seventh place in his semifinal, which further strengthened his popularity. Frispråkarn has over the years released several acclaimed songs such as "Nästa tåg, nästa buss" and "Håll mig kvar". His music is characterized by honest lyrics and a style that breaks norms within Swedish rap.
